Solution for Energy Assistance Program
VIVA's team has been involved in building applications for State of Wisconsin programs such as Energy Assistance Program, Lead Hazard Reduction Program, and Home Energy Assistance Program.
The scope of the project is to redesign and develop an interactive website for Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP). The website administers the federally-funded Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the Public Benefits Energy Assistance Program in helping eligible low-income households meet their home heating and/or cooling needs. These services are provided locally through county social services offices, Tribal governments, or private non-profit, or other government agencies. The people get benefits from this program based on their living situation; household income and other criteria are set by this program.
