Project Management - Infrastructure Support

VIVA has provided project management services for a project that was responsible for providing Help Desk call assistance, advanced hardware and software support service, telecommunications support, and Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) support for a Federal agency.

Responsibilities

Worked with federal and contract managers to provide supervision, direction, and day-to-day technical and functional resources and directions ? Interfaced between Government Program Manager and Project Manager, Executive Engagement Manager, and developed and managed integrated project plan (schedules, costs and resources) ? Assisted the government in defining the project scope, deliverables, requirements, and funding for projects, and set up PMOs for both the Office of the Chief Technology Officer and Office of the Chief Financial Officer ? Developed templates, standard process, and procedures, and implemented best practices for the client ? Analyzed issues and problems; recommended solutions on software and hardware selection and/or system integration ? Reviewed technical work and managed resources ? Presented formal and informal briefings to technical and non-technical members of the client ? Maintained P&L cost centers ? Held overall responsibility for managing customer satisfaction as it relates to service delivery ? Interfaced with Program Manager to ensure that the contractual obligations were met, and with client senior management to ensure strategic alignment with the client mission and initiatives of the Office of the Chief Information Officer
